Queen Bee

Ruth Marsh is an astounding artist currently living and working out of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her work revolves around bees at the moment and was initiated by a small plea "May I have your bees please".

Ruth's work has investigated the bee as art in several different ways, including her brilliant Bee Taxidermy. Gathering together dead bees donated by observant pedestrians, Ruth gave them new life by making them whole again using found objects to replace any missing bee parts.
